She has been a certified Personal Training since 1997 with ISSA,
and since 2000 she has been a certified Pilates, Spin, and group
fitness instructor. She is also the Group Fitness Director at
SVAC. Lisa has a clinical ACSM certification pertaining to Cardiac

in Exercise Physiology in 1996. For the next 3 years, Lisa worked
in the ER at the University of Utah Hospital emergency room
before transferring to the LDS Hospital in downtown Salt Lake
City where she served as the Lead Exercise Therapist in Cardiopulmonary
Rehab. Lisa worked with patients of all ages with heart and
lung problems and helped them return to good health by implementing
lifestyle changes and most importantly, EXERCISE.
Lisa herself, has
always been passionate about exercise and can't remember a time
that she wasn't a competitive athlete. Swimming was her most
dominate sport, but she competed in everything from volleyball
to track and field. Lisa has several athletic accomplishments,
but most recently she is very proud of qualifying for and running
the Boston Marathon in April of 2008.
Athletics always have
been and always will be a part of Lisa's life. She feels that
you are never to old to want to be stronger and get faster.
Since Lisa has children of her own who will someday be competing
in sports, Lisa feels that Parisi is the perfect way to accomplish
any personal goals that you might have for yourself or your
children to become better, stronger, faster and more confident
athletes.
